GOT A SECTION?

Design and build may be the option for you

Along side our architects, custom design your own build to best suit you and your section with design and build.

Take a read below of our step by step timeline of how the process will look.

House and Land Packages or Design and Build, Canterbury

Step 1

Meet with your Bank or Mortgage Broker

A great starting point if choosing to build is to meet with your bank or mortgage broker to get pre approval and to get more of an idea what your budget will be.

Step 3

Concept plan

Once we have chosen a section we can start to design a plan for your site. We are able to provide you with portfolio of the houses we have already completed to get an idea of the layout you prefer and find out what you want from your home and we will get a design drawn for you.

Step 5

Fixed price contract

When you have given us the thumbs up from our price estimate we will then proceed with a fixed price contract with exact pricing. This will be a comprehensive contract showing everything that is included so there are no hidden extras.

Step 7

Build process begins

This is where you can sit back and watch the magic happen while receiving weekly reports on the progress of your home.

Step 2

Find your section

We don’t use standard plans, all houses we build are bespoke to your site to ensure we make the most of the space and sun. This means before we start to design your home we need to know where it is going! If you don’t already have a section in mind we are happy to help you find the right one.

Step 4

Price estimate

Once we have created a concept plan you are happy with we are able to provide you with a cost estimate.

Step 6

Finalising finer details

Once we have signed off the fixed price contract you will meet with our colour consultant to finalise the colour scheme and finishing touches.

Step 8

Your dream home is ready

Once we receive the Council Code of compliance the keys will be handed over and your home will be yours to move into!
